Situated in the most breath-taking position facing the majestic Eildon hills, this idyllic traditional log cabin blends the best natural materials, eco-friendly technologies and the latest gadetry in one stunning build.
Crafted from the finest Scottish timber, this full-scribe log cabin really is traditional log building at its best. Huge mortise joints bind the corners and each log is perfectly scribbed to fit seamlessly into the build, which is capped off with a beautiful turf roof.
Commissioned by Eildon Holiday Cottages as a self-catering holiday let, this 1.5 storey log cabin sleeps 4 and features two double bedrooms with separate shower room, an open plan kitchen dining area for relaxing and entertaining.
Dramatic views of the Eildon hills are captured beautifully in the large glazed gable which opens onto a private deck. Complete with wood-fired hot tub and firepit.
Log homes don’t get much finer than this.
The large covered deck area extends the living space and features a wood-fired hot tub for year-round use.
This bespoke log cabin features deep, exposed Douglas Fir rafters which support the natural turf roof.
Internal electrical cables are hidden inside the log shell, minimising the interruption to the rustic log interior, which is capped off with skip-peeled logs – all peeled and finished by hand.
From the moment you walk out to the large decking area, sit around the fire pit or sink into in the wood fired hot tub, glass of fizz in hand and fabulous views at every turn, stresses will leave you …
