Formerly a dairy farm, Braisty Woods has diversified into offering holiday accommodation for visitors to the national park and surrounding areas.
Built in the Post and Beam style, each cabin has a double bedroom, bathroom and open plan kitchen / living area. Fantastically appointed and finished with a calm and natural interior, these cabins are an ideal place for a relaxing country retreat.
Built to our exacting standards, these cabins are hand-crafted using locally grown Douglas Fir and finished with Larch cladding – a perfect complement to the natural beauty of the area.
Each of our cabins are hand-crafted using traditional log building techniques. Every build starts with hand-peeling our specially selected logs. This is designed to remove the outer layer of bark which carries the moisture up the tree during growth.
It is back-breaking work, but the quality of the peel sets the standard for the rest of the build.
All log-work takes place in our yard where we painstaking craft and set-out the frame of the log cabin. The logs are then labelled before being transported to site.
Without a doubt the best Air BnB place I have stayed in! Super cool location. Stylish, clean and very cosy. The hot tub is a real treat.
